Well... it's been a bit bumpy the last few weeks, as in I am having troubles making ends meet. But, somewhere along the way, it seems to have gotten better. I recently watched the New Star Trek Movie. I thought it was pretty good, they did an amazing job reworking the entire cast and revitalizing the series that I had thought was going the way of the dinosaurs.
Amongst other things was a bumpy couple of days at work, it seems that sometimes a supervisor and I bump heads. Its not that we hate each other, our methods are just a little different - or perhaps it is because we are so similar that we bring out the worst in each other, in any case, we both felt bad the next day and made our apologies.
Next was the seasonal job, I have more or less let it go as the asst kitchen manager is on vacation and because of that, I am getting more hours. I have another two weeks and it looks like I will be getting the weekends off. So, that makes my days even better. After the asst. kitchen manager comes back and kitchen manager is going on Vacation so still getting the hours I want.
For other things it was a little bit bumpy for internet/cable/telephone. I couldn't make the payment on time and we got disconnected for a few days. Here's the kicker for the five days that we went without there was more organization done than in the last five months we have lived here (still haven't completely unpacked from moving). Alas, all good things came to an end, the internet is back (obviously) and we are going back to being the disfunctional family we were before. Not so bad, I assure you.
Last but not least, I am going through my anime collection. I finished Gad Guard a few days ago, watched Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina Saturday and now I am going onto Sousei no Aquarion (Aquarion) now. Any suggestions on what series I should watch, drop me a line.
Also, started playing Shin Megami Tensai: Devil Summoner 2. It's pretty good. It is far different than its predicessor, but I am definately impressed with it.
